Donation Drives
Donation Drives
At New Beginnings Sarah’s House, every donation drive helps provide safety, dignity, and hope to families rebuilding their lives. When your church, business, school, or civic group collects needed items, you are directly supporting individuals and families in crisis.
Below you will find guidelines and donation drive options to help you organize a successful and meaningful drive.
General Guidelines for All Drives
To help us maintain a safe, clean, and dignified environment for our clients, please follow these guidelines:
- Items should be new or gently used, clean, and in good condition.
- Please do not donate items with stains, tears, odors, or excessive wear.
- Food donations must be unopened, properly packaged, and within expiration dates.
- Please label boxes or bags with the type of items included.
- Please do not overload bags or boxes.
Please schedule donation drop-offs in advance to ensure staff availability.
We are happy to assist with flyers and promotional materials for your drive.
Types of Donation Drives
Below are some of the most impactful donation drives you can host to support individuals and families served by New Beginnings Sarah’s House.
Food insecurity is one of the greatest challenges many families face when entering our programs. Hosting a food drive helps keep our pantry stocked throughout the year and ensures families have access to essential food items during difficult times.

Every July and August, New Beginnings Sarah’s House collects school supplies and other back-to-school essentials to help children start the school year prepared and confident. Donation drives can include backpacks, notebooks, pencils, paper, hygiene items, and other grade appropriate school supplies.
Please contact us for a current supply list and information about hosting a back-to-school drive.
Each October and November, New Beginnings Sarah’s House collects new and gently used winter coats, jackets, hoodies, blankets, and cold weather essentials to help individuals and families stay warm during the winter months. These donations provide comfort, protection, and practical support for families experiencing crisis and hardship.
