Sarah's House was founded in 2001 as a local nonprofit organization dedicated to providing emergency services such as food, shelter, clothing, and other basic needs to individuals experiencing homelessness.
In 2015, Sarah's House moved to our current location, on Perla Road in Pasadena, Texas.
In October 2021, Sarah's House received specialized funding that allowed us to expand our services to individuals and families fleeing domestic violence. Our transition into a dual agency allowed Sarah’s House the opportunity to rebrand as New Beginnings and adopt a mission that incorporates our vision to help end homelessness and domestic violence.
Our Services Include:
24-Hour Hotline
Emergency Shelter
Food Pantry
Resale Store
In support of the movement to end domestic violence, New Beginnings is a proud member of the Texas Council on Family Violence.
Our staff at New Beginnings cordially invites you to attend our upcoming benefit event, Raise for the Roses, at 6pm on Thursday, May 1st, at FountainBlu Event Center.
